Town Mayor’s Charity Quiz and Raffle Promises Fun in Wimborne Minster

Put your general knowledge to the test and enjoy a fun evening out while supporting two fantastic local charities at the Town Mayor’s Charity Quiz and Raffle.

The quiz takes place on Wednesday 21 October at Allendale Community Centre, Hanham Road, Wimborne, BH21 1AS, with teams of six invited to battle it out for quiz glory.

Entry is just £6 per person, making it a great-value evening for friends, family, colleagues and community groups to get together, have some fun and raise money for good causes at the same time.

There will also be a raffle on the night, with a selection of prizes to be won.

This year, the Town Mayor’s chosen charities are Lewis-Manning Hospice Care and Waggy Tails Rescue, with profits from the evening helping to support the valuable work of both organisations.

Town Mayor Cllr Jeff Hart said:

“I’m really looking forward to our charity quiz. It’s a chance to get together, have a bit of fun and perhaps discover who really knows their general knowledge!

“Most importantly, the evening will help us raise much-needed funds for Lewis-Manning Hospice Care and Waggy Tails Rescue. I hope people will get a team together, come along and support what should be a really enjoyable evening.”

All profits will support the Town Mayor’s chosen charities: Lewis-Manning Hospice Care and Waggy Tails Rescue.
